Yorkshire Apples
A sweet, medium sized, golden russet apple with orange flush and banana tones that was discovered in Templemore, Cork (1890). Lacking in acidity, this variety is highly regarded by connoisseurs. It tends to be ready by September although results are best in full sun. Resistant to scab, this is a variety suited to northern Britain. . Pollination group 4. R.H.S. Award of Merit 1910.
