Aka Swiss Gourmet. A modern dessert variety developed in Switzerland (1958) by crossing Idared and Golden Delicious. Once grown commericially this juicy fruit is a wonderful balance of sweet/tart with hints of melon and pineapple with a delightful aroma. A recommended addition to any orchard. Pollination Gp 2.
