Arthur Turner - first class baking apple suitable for northern Britain.

Yorkshire Apples

A heavy cropping baking apple of first class quality that was introduced in Berkshire in 1915 with stunning deep pink blossom that received an Award of Merit in 1945 from the RHS. It cooks to a swest yellow puree that doesn't require extra sugar. Resistant to frosts and reasonably hardy it is suitable for sites in the north of Britain. Pollination group 3.
