Yorkshire Apples
A heritage variety from Gloucester (1700s). A sweet, aromatic medium sized, golden brown skinned apple with a superb, rare, complex flavour praised by connoisseurs and is now being grown commercially on a small scale. It is regarded as one of the best late eating apples and is highly valued for juicing. Resistant to scab, mildew and cedar apple rust. Pollination group 4. RHS Award of Merit 1969.
