Ashton Brown Jersey - disease resistant, vintage, bittersweet.
Yorkshire Apples
A biennial, disease resistant, medium bittersweet Somerset cider apple developed in the Long Ashton Research Institute and released in 1903. This high quality, vintage variety can be slow to crop but it is well worth the wait. The woolly, sweet, astingent juice produces good, full bodied bittersweet cider. Pollination group 6.
