A sweet and fragrant cider variety discovered as a roadside chance seedling in Baud, Southern Brittany in the1800s. This is a very interesting and useful variety that adds aroma to a cider blend an an alternative to sweet varieties originating in the UK. Abundant cropping in alternate years giving sweet, crisp, juicy flesh with low acidity levels. Pollination group 4.
