Imported by Bulmer from Normandy in 1891.  This is a mild bittersweet cider with hard bitter tannins and biennial tenancies. It was once a very popular fast fermenting cider variety although nowadays it is mostly used within a blend. A vigorous tree. Pollination group 3.
