Cap of Liberty - an ancient vintage quality full bittersharp.

With 1300s Somerset origins in Martock this variety makes a full, aromatic rich fruity cider with some complexity thatresuts in an excellent quality that is highly regarded as a single variety cider apple.  It is often blended with sweet apples to create a slower fermentation and a rounder result with higher alcohol content. A irregular biennial cropper that needs to be well managed to prevent canker and scab. Pollination group 4.
