A chance seedling discovered by Edward Coleman a vagrant in Gissing, south Norfolk around 1900. Chris Eve (2009) verified and propagated cuttings from this original beauty. A heavy cropping variety with sweet, crisp flesh with a pleasing flavour and locally used in cider production. Pollination group 5.
