Yorkshire Apples
Discovered in a Surrey hedgerow in 1821, this excellent, high quality specimen has fairly soft, aromatic, sweet and nutty juicy flesh with a full and rich flavour. Described by Hogg as "a valuable and highly esteemed dessert apple of the first quality". It is a reliable variety that crops well, it is resistant to scab, and is suitable for the colder areas in the north. SG 1.052. A Triploid. Pollination Group 4.
