Yorkshire Apples
Developed to be hardy in New York 1974 this medium sized apple glows with a purplish, dark smooth red skin. The red pigment occasionally bleeds into the cream coloured flesh which is crisp and juicy. The sweet flavour is well balanced with savoury notes. It ripens at least two weeks before McIntosh. Pollination group 2.
