A well-regarded Victorian cooking apple raised by Mrs Peasgood, Stamford from seed and later developed by the Laxton Brothers. Nonsuch simply means unsurpassed and this describes the quality of this fruit. The flesh cooks as well as a Bramley and retains more sweetness. Pollination Group 3.
