Taunton Cross - a sweet sharp with a vinous flavour.

Raised at Long Ashton, Bristol (1919) this is a moderate sweet/sharp, almost vinous, variety with white flesh occasionally tinged pink. This variety is resistant to scab and will tolerate dampish conditions more than most. Poliination group 3.
