Cornish Aromatic - spicy flavour, some disease resistance
Yorkshire Apples
An important and valuable Cornish dessert apple, with origins thought to be 1500s and re-discovered in 1813. The fruits show a bright red flush with variable russeting and the creamy white flesh is firm, crisp and aromatic. Described by Hogg as " a valuable dessert apple of first ratequality." The flavour is pleasantly spicy after a sweet, mildly acid bite. Good resistance to canker and scab. Pollination Group 3
