Yorkshire Apples
An unusual apple that can traced to 1785 Essex, although it might be much older. Bunyard says "of the finest quality" of medium size it has an unattractive appearance given its waxy partially russetted form. It is resistant to scab, mildew and canker and its blossom resists frost. The axcellent fruit is ready in November and has a hot, spicy nutmeg flavour. Pollination group 4.
