Domaines -a modern commercial French bittersweet

Yorkshire Apples

A modern French bittersweet variety developed by INRA in Agers in the 1970s. With good resistance to scab an mildew, it produces a consistent, well-rounded, colourful, and aromatic cider with a good balance between sweetness and tannins. Today it is widely grown commercially in Normandy and is said to be a hardy bench mark amongst high yielding varieties. Pollination group 5.
