Du Verger - a small interesting bittersweet from NE France

A small bittersweet variety found in Fontaine les Vervins in the Somme region. The high density juice is sweet, aromatic and tannic and has a high resistance to scab and low resistance to powdery mildew. Because of the high tannin content it is best used as part of a blend.  Pollination group 4.
