Fair Maid of Devon - a full sharp that is best served within a blend.
Yorkshire Apples
A mid season full sharp cider apple grown throughout east and mid Devon and recorded in 1934. This is a vintage cider apple that can be used to make a single varietal cider that is thin, dry with a light body. Fermentation of the must can be rapid and is sought to be improved by including this within a blend. Best used quickly to gain the benefit of its tannin. Pollination group 3.
