Raised in 1925 by Seabrook in Essex by crossing two excellent varieties - Worcester Pearmain and Rival. This self sterile variety of medium vigour produces
red flushed fruit with creamy juicy flesh that offers abundant sweet and well-flavoured aromatic juice with a good balance of acidity. Pollination group 3.
