Framboise - dark maroon with pink, raspberry flavoured flesh.
Yorkshire Apples
A very old European variety first described by Knoop in 1771 (Holland) although its suspected origins are 1600s France. It is sometimes called a Violette or Black Apple because of its very dark maroon skin. The yellow flesh is juicy, aromatic with a raspberry flavour and can be tinged pink under the skin.
