Gascoynes Scarlet - an astounding juicy variety.
Yorkshire Apples
This large crimson fruit was raised by Mr Gascoyne (Kent 1871) and awarded an RHS First Class Certificate in 1887. The juicy flesh is tinged pink white and this enables the production of mild flavoured, perfumed, sweet/sharp yet interesting, pink juice. Suitable for chalky soils. Pollination group 4.
