A Blenheim Orange and King of the Pippins cross raised in 1902 in Surrey. While this variety is uncommon it must be said that the fruits are a winner and have a great aromatic flavour being firm, fine-textured, juicy with sweet flesh. This is a variety that needs greater recognition. Pollination group 4.
