Yorkshire Apples
Aka Brandy Apple. A famous and possibly an ancient (1600s) russet apple regarded by some as the most delicious dessert apple. Hogg (1851) describes it such as well as a hardy and an excellent bearer that will keep till June. As a remarkable cider variety it is known as the Brandy Apple for its rich flavour and high SG at 1085. For enthusiasts this is a "must have" variety described by Hogg as "one of the richest and most excellent dessert apples". Pollination Group 4.
