Golly Knapp - a very rare rediscovered bittersweet from Dorset.
Yorkshire Apples
Rediscovered in 2007 from an old orchard near Bidport, Dorset this variety (from a single remaining tree) has a very high sugar content at 15% that offers the possiblility of high potential alcohol. Small russetted green fruits with a gentle orange flush that are tolerant of a marine climate with mild, chewy flesh that creates a rich depth within the finshed cider. Pollination group 3.
