Jonagored is a large red apple that was discovered in 1980 in Belgium as a sport of Jonagold (USA in 1953 a cross between Jonathan and Golden Delicious). It is a popular variety that boasts flesh that is crisp, creamy white, juicy with a rich, honeyed aromatic flavour. Pollination Group 4.
