A highly regarded bittersweet cider apple from Finistere, Brittany, listed in 1896, that prefers drier climates and will tolerate wind. This prolific variety raises very juicy, bitter and aromatic dark material with mellow tannins that can we used effectively as part of a blend as well as a notable single varietal cider. Pollination group 4.
