Nottingham Pippin - a rare, vinous variety from Nottingham.

Originated in Nottingham before 1815 and present in Europe in the first half of the 1800s although nowadays it is regarded as a rare variety. A compact tree that crops well offering smallish yellow fruit that are juicy and crisp with a pleasant vinous flavour. Certainly one for the enthusiast. Pollination group 4.
