King of Tompkins County - simply known as King in the USA (thin)

In development - small one year whips - rare in the UK. This is the premier USA hertitage apple discovered in New Jersey in 1750 and fondly known simply as "King". The fruits are large with yellow/red colouring. The flesh tends to be aromatic, welcomely sub-acid and meltingly sweet. Interestingly, the flavour tends to remind folk what an apple should taste like. Pollination group 3.
