Laxton's Fortune - a hardy and popular Cox type apple.
Yorkshire Apples
Bred in 1904 by the Laxton Brotheres (released in 1931) and offers a similar superb sweet and aromatic flavour to Cox it's parent (Wealthy was the other parent). This medium sized fruit is resistant to both scab and mildew. The variety possesses creamy white flesh, thati is both juicy and sweet with hints of aniseed and banana. Pollination Group 3. RHS First Class Certificate 1948.
