Mahe - (thin) a honeyed aromatic variety from Japan.

This interesting purple flowered variety was developed in Japan in 1956 at the Aomori Apple Experiment Station. With MacIntosh and Golden Delicious as parents it is not surprising that the fruits are honeyed sweet with perfumed aroma. A good cropping variety. Self sterile and requires pollination partners.
