Aka Sans Richaumont - a very important heritage bittersweet cider apple variety found as a seedling by Marie Ménard at Lamballe farmers market on the coast of Brittany in 1910. It is an essential ingredient in robust Brittany style ciders that contribute to the production of Calvados. It has low susceptibility to scab, powdery mildew, and canker. Pollination group 5.
