Prima - a modern disease resistant variety from the USA.

Released in the USA in 1970 by the Perdue, Rutgers and University of Illinois co-operative as an attempt to create a scab free apple with further resistance to mildew and canker. The fruits are exceptional with a deep cream, juicy flesh and a sweet, superior fruity taste. Pollination group 3.
