Developed as a modern disease resistant variety in the PRI research programme (USA 1962) and is one of the most disease resistant varieties available - a worthy candidate for the organic grower. The fruit is of fine quality that is crisp, sweet and aromatic. In the US it is also used in cider blends. Pollination group 3.
