Queen Cox - a great flavoured variety but not for the north.
Yorkshire Apples
Said to be a clone of Cox that was recognised in Berkshire in the 1950s. This self fertile, reliable cropper has more reddened colour and a more aromatic flavour than its parent. Medium sweet with a delicously fruity tang. A variety that dislikes wet sites. Pollination Group 3.
