Yorkshire Apples
An old bittersweet variety (1600s) from Somerset that is highly tannic and best used in small quantities within a blend. Producing medium sized red fruits with creamy flesh that offer good quantities of dense juice. This variety is moderately vigorous and highly productive every other year. Liz Copas comments "Red Jersey makes a good quality, full bodied bittersweet cider". Pollination group 5.
