Rival - Cox flavour coupled with disease resistance.
Yorkshire Apples
Unusually Cox was crossed with a cooking apple (Peasgood Nonsuch in 1900) to obtain greater disease resistance. This variety offers that characteristic together with Cox-like crisp, juicy aromatic flesh. Very suitable for the north. Pollination Group 3.
