Silva - a sweet fruit with strawberry tones from Sweden.

Released in Sweden (1970) from the Alnarp Agricultural College by crossing Melba and Stenbock varieties. This is a rare variety in the UK and while the resultant light green fruits would not win a beauty contest their flavours are so very interesting with sweetness and clear strawberry tones evident. Pollination group 3.
