St Edmunds Russet - regarded by some as the superior russet

Yorkshire Apples

Aka St Edmund's Pippin. Regarded as being resistant to canker, mildew and scab is highly suitable for the north. This richly flavoured and very juicy fruit has a distinct tangy sweetness that some say is superior to the more widely grown Egremont Russet. This variety is the earliest of the russets although if picked too early it can be disappointing. Resistant to scab. RHS First Class Certificate 1875.  Pollination Group 3.

Dessert - Partial Tip Bearer - Partially self fertile - Ready Late September

Minimum order of 5 scions - these can be of different varieties.
