Strawberry Pippin - a rare sweet apple from Devon.

Said to be a Devon variety that was recorded at least from 1874.  Nowadays, while it is a rare find it remains hugely interesting.  It is a medium sized, beautiful, sweet apple that offers a crunchy and juicy textured flesh without much tartness.
