Sturmer Pippin - an exceptionally well-flavoured apple.
Yorkshire Apples
Released in 1827 this is said to be a cross between Nonpareil and Ribston Pippin. This fruit has exceptional flavour with a high vitamin C content, that benefits from being left on the tree beyond November. It keeps really well and some say it is better eaten in January / February. While it is self fertile it performs better with a pollination partner. Pollination Group 3.
