Thomas Rivers Early Peach - a quality, heritage variety.

A very old variety raised by the famous Rivers Nursery in 1893. Similar to Irish Peach although with an even finer flavour with a distinct peach-like character. The fruit is always very sweet and juicy apple and is renowned for being a good cropper.  The season, as the name implies, is very early in the first half of August and the fruit, as with all earlies, is best eaten straight from the tree.
