Tom Putt - a mild sharp best used within a blend.
Yorkshire Apples
Raised either by Rev Tom Putt in Somerset at the end of the 1700s or his uncle Tom Putt in Honiton, Devon. The flesh is yellowish, with red stains, coarse-grained., crisp, moderately juicy and typically acidic for a dual purpose fruit. Very scab resistant. The resultant thin, dry and sharp cider improves with age.
