A rare sweet cider apple probably discovered as a seedling from Poundstock, Bude, Cornwall around the early 1900s. Offering creamy white, juicy flesh this sweet variety has an aromatic quality that made it locally popular as a dessert apple. Added to a blend, the pale pink juice can make a distinctive and worthwhile cider with a SG 0.052
