Winston - a much loved variety suitable for the north.

Re-named in 1944. This is a relatively small, good flavoured apple that becomes sweeter the longer its left on the tree. It is fully self fertile, frost resistant and trouble free. It crops heavily and because it is resistant to scab, mildew and canker it is very suitable for the north. Pollination Group 4.
