Yorkshire Apples
Aka Winter King and re-named in 1944. Cox and Wocester Pearmain as parents. This is a relatively small, good flavoured apple that becomes sweeter the longer its left on the tree. It is self fertile, frost resistant and trouble free. It crops heavily and because it is resistant to scab, mildew and canker it is very suitable for the north and north west. Pollination Group 4.
