Collection: Scions

We will re-open the shop for scion orders in April 2025. We will start to post scions in January 2026.         

We offer 20-25cm scions of some of the varieties in our catalogue between the beginning of January and Early March from £4.00 each with a minimum quantity of 5 plus p&p.   

We have at least 300 viable mother tree varieties with more planned for the future. Depending on availability we offer 20-25cm scions for sale from January 2026 to mid March.  We endeavour to offer scions of a decent thickness because we have found that the thin material sold by others doesn't always have the energy store to produce vigorous results.  Nevertheless, it is important to note that there are differences between varieties and some varieties exhibit stronger one year wood and make for thicker scion material. For example Pendragon first year wood is always thinner than Sweet Coppin and so on. 

  

We don't really make a great profit on scions and to make it viable we only sell minimum quantities of 5 with funds raised going towards the expansion of our collection. 

Because the wood needs to be dormant and to have endured a degree of chill we will start to post this material in the first week of January. Postage and packaging includes collection (which takes ages) is separate and is calculated at checkout.
